A nice relaxing day. Slept in. 10:00 breakfast. 1:00 hike to Avalanche Lake and short walk through the Cedars. 5:00 return to the Lodge. David, Vik, and Jonah jumped on their steeds and rode the "Going To The Sun" road for the beautiful views and fun ride. We met for dinner at 8:30 at the Lake McDonald Lodge. All in all, a great day.

OMG!! Bruce, been there back in 1999, took this same hike to the lake and also drive half way up on the road to the Sun. Had bad brakes in the car we were using and went back down! Great scenery, thanks for sharing!! Ed
